Ohio legislation passes bill to prevent abortions after a fetal heartbeat

It’s amazing that this is moving forward. This would stop all abortions after six weeks. There is justifiable speculation whether this would survive the court system, especially the Supreme Court.

However, as long as this is alive, it has some powerful repercussions. Most Americans, especially most media, deny the fact that the unborn child is alive. They have no clue that a heartbeat starts at six weeks. This will cause many to have to face the humanity and life of the unborn child. It will make them think about what abortion actually does. It terminates a beating heart.

Even if it does nothing else, this bill will force people to face some of the reality of what abortion is. For that, I think it is very useful.
