Manhattan Declaration

The Manhattan Declaration was an effort promoted by many Christian organizations to identify those issues in our culture that we will take a stand on. It unites Catholic, Orthodox, and Evangelical Christians on these issues.

Here is what the Declaration says at the beginning: Because the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage as a union of husband and wife, and the freedom of religion are foundational principles of justice and the common good, we affirm:

  • 1. The profound, inherent, and equal dignity of every human life

  • 2. Marriage as a union of one man and one woman

  • 3. Religious liberty and the inherent freedom of human beings

We encourage you to read it, sign it, and send it to your Christian friends to sign. It’s time to unite to save our culture!
